This is an amazing product that works perfectly for out the front of tents, caravans, camper trailers, and camp sites. We have used and recommended this amazing product to our clients for over 10 years, and continue to visit client sites to this day who still have their original multimats on site that have been exposed permanently to the elements for 10 years. This mat is perfect for around your vehicle to keep the area clean and dry.
Sand and dirt fall straight through the mat to the ground beneath-but not back up through the mat. The CGear Multimat is ideal for outdoor living areas and provides a sand and dirt free area for camping sites. The Multimat can be used as a shade mat (Providing 90%+ UV Protection) and as windbreak break mat for screening. Designed in Australia for Australian conditions by a proudly Australian owned company.
The Multimat is constructed with internationally patented multi-layered knitted technology. Using our technology, it allows sand and dirt to simply fall through the mat, returning to the ground underneath and not coming back up through the mat. All other single layer woven ground mats do not perform as well as this double layered system.
The multimat has been thoroughly tested and used in harsh environmental conditions and we have learnt the following characteristics –
The mat does not fade or rot. Exposure to heat will not make the mat sticky, stretchy, or change shape. Pegs can be hammered through the mat and it will not tear. UV exposure does not deteriorate the woven mat material. The double layer of material is far more durable and more effective at drainage of sand and dirt than any single layer equivalent mat.
The CGear Multimat is lightweight and easy to set up and pack away. Made with reinforced edges and using D-Rings to peg the Multimat down, the Multimat is durable and won’t tear or fray, even if cut due to rip stop technology. Each Multimat also comes with its own drawstring carry bag.
Note – the original multimat was made in a green colour. The multimat is now made in a grey colour.
